The Exploration Art Program
This fine arts program was developed by art educators Tim and Pam O’Loughlin in order to provide children with educational art experiences while allowing for exploration and development of technical and creative thinking skills. Brain research confirms that education in the fine arts strengthens a child’s problem solving, cognitive, critical and creative thinking skills, adding to their overall academic achievement, school success, and preparation for the work world. Our program offers weekly classes where students experience a vast variety of art mediums while progressively building upon experiences and skills as well as workshops which allow students to experience a more in-depth study of a particular art medium.
Exploring Art – weekly classes: Students will have a blast getting their hands dirty and exploring a vast variety of art mediums including drawing, painting, printmaking, and sculpture. Each class will be full of fun filled activities, educational experiences and creative exploration. Ages 4-8
